This digital e-book, first published in 1980, lists 2,590 Scots known to have taken part in the Second Jacobite Rising (around 7,000 fought at the final battle at Culloden). There is a seperate list of rebels arranged by region, with each entry giving the name, occupation, home, parish, description of their activities in the rising and what became of them afterwards (killed, 'lurking', prisoner, etc).

There is a seperate list of people linked to the rising, with evidence supporting the claim and even whether their home was destroyed as a result. Though the arrangement of the name is cumbersome, you can use the search function and index to find your forebear.
