The Eton Register was originally compiled by the Old Etonian Association and Stapylton's School Lists, and the facsimiles of four volumes are now available on this CD. The college's famous alimni include royalty and 18 prime ministers. The register has been digitised in Acrobat format and comes with an executable file program (parishr.exe), which automatically loads the menu page.

Each section contains a list of provosts, fellows, masters, cricket elevens, boat crews and student lists (or 'Elections'). Entries offer brief biographical information, including the father's name and addres, academic and sporting achievements and details of any military service. As these registers were compiled since those listed had left school, details of the 'last known' whereabouts and occupation have been included. The images have been digitally enhanced, have time-saving name indexes and each year is bookmarked.
