Parigh Registers of Wing, Buckinghamshire

This CD-ROM, Wing, Buckinghamshire Parish Registers 1546-1812, contains transcriptions, originally published in 1914, of seven parish register books (volumes), containing baptisms, weddings and burials at Wing.

Baptism information may include: names of child and parents; and dates of birth and baptism. Marriage details include: full names of bride and groom; place of origin if outside the parish; date of marriage; and if a person signed the register.

A banns book for the period 1755-1775 gives both full names, date of marriages or the last date of banns (if the marriage is missing), and place of origin if outside the parish. Some of the earlier burials include snippets of extra information such as marital status, where from if out of parish, cause of death and so forth. Later burials include age.

The transcription has an alphabetical index and is searchablem bookmarked and printable.
