Kelly's directories are an invaluable source when it comes to searching for your ancestors. They often include residential and commercial listings giving the names and addresses of each entry.

The Kelly's Oxfordshire 1891 directory is especially useful as it ties in with the 1891 Census. Although it is searchable, it is not advisable to rely solely on the search feature - browse the directory as well.

To browse the directory: choose a section that you wish to look at from the alphabetical bookmarks on the left.

To search the directory: Key 'Ctrl+F' to bring up the 'Find' window and type in a word. Pressing F3 will continue to search the directory for that word.
