This is one of a number of new releases related to the First World War published by S&N. The Roll records the names and records of those who served during the 1914-1918 period, including civilians. It is by no means complete as people had to pay for entries, and in the end only a dozen volumes were published, of which volume 7 has also been released in this series. The information includes name, enrolment date, rank, medals and a general summary of service, actions and posts. The two volumes of the National Roll here are just London. The data is in PDF format, bookmarked, fully searchable and may be printed out.
