Oxford University Historical register 1220-1900

This was originally published in 1900, and was desribed as 'being a supplement to the Oxford University calendar with an alphabetical record of University honours and distinctions completed to the end of Trinity term 1900'.

Some of the information is about the university and its colleges rather than its students. However, the class lists, winners of prizes, and lists of those matriculating and attaining distinctions all feature the lengthy schedules of names that genealogists love!

I tried to trace the details of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll. Lewis can be found several times, including Michaelmas Term 1854, when he obtained Class 1 honours at Christ Church.
